Gene spearheads the business development and sales efforts at GuideMark. He has more than 30 years experience in information technology and financial services, including stints at Computer Entry Systems Corporation, where he launched the OCR/image processing firm into the global credit card systems market, and CompuScan Inc., where he formed a financial systems group whose premier financial services clients processed more than 50 percent of North American Visa and Mastercard transactions.

Early in his career, while at Computing and Software Inc. from 1970-1974, he managed the development and marketing of two major investment advisory / banking applications, Personal Trust and Time Deposit, and subsequently established them as market leaders.

Immediately prior to co-founding GuideMark in 1997, Gene was a division president at ASA International Ltd.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Economics from Villanova University.

Eli Szklanka

Eli Szklanka
Managing Partner

Eli Szklanka leads GuideMark software development and technical support. He has successfully combined business acumen with technical expertise throughout his 20-plus year career in information technology, and brings this expertise to bear on the development of GuideMark SalesDRIVE CRM.

Before co-founding GuideMark in 1997, he served as a division president at ASA International Ltd., and prior to that, he was a co-founder of TEC Computer Systems (acquired by ASA in 1986).

While at Bank of Boston in the early 70s, Eli designed and developed Boston's first Automated Teller Machine (ATM) software system.

Eli holds a Bachelor of Arts, Biology and Psychology, from Williams College.
